HISTORY

 

      Berat Cömertoğlu Vocational School was started education life as a subordinate of Niğde University at the meeting of the General Assembly of Higher Education dated 16.10.1997 as deemed appropriate in accordance with Article 7/d-2 of the Law No. 2547 within the scope of the Law No. 2880. It was started its education service in two programs as Marketing and Business Program within the Department of Economics and Administrative Programs in the 1997-1998 academic year with 97 students.

      Berat Cömertoğlu Vocational School, which was established under Niğde University was affiliated to the newly established Aksaray University according to the additional article 64 of the Law No. 5467 published in the Official Gazette dated March 17, 2006 and numbered 26111.After that, it was named Aksaray University Şereflikoçhisar Berat Cömertoğlu Vocational School.

      While this vocational school continued its activities under Aksaray University, it was affiliated to Ankara Yıldırım University with the letter dated 5 June 2018 and numbered 44105, pursuant to the 2nd paragraph of the 7th article of the Law No. 2547, pursuant to the decision taken by the Council of Higher Education. Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University continues its education under the name of Şereflikoçhisar Berat Cömertoğlu Vocational School.

      This vocational school continues its education and training with the Local Administrations Program and the Business Management Program under the name of the Management and Organization Department, which operates under the school director.
