Mission
The mission of Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University Distance Education Research and Application Center is to expand the limitations of traditional learning methods of our university students, and to provide access to rich course contents at the highest level possible, regardless of time and place. In addition, our mission is to become an innovative and sustainable center which increases the effectiveness of education and instruction based on communication and information technologies, adopts the principles to meet lifelong learning / education needs, facilitates access to learning opportunities and various learning experiences, competitive at national level, open to international cooperation in order to ensure the development of different age groups, NGOs, institutions and organizations of our society.
Vision
Keeping student-instructor interaction at the highest level thanks to the use of effective and most efficient distance education methods and technologies, our center has adopted the satisfaction of both students and academic staff as the basic principle. In addition, our center aims to bring together the high knowledge and experience of our university's strong, distinguished and dynamic academic staff with the society, NGOs and institutions / organizations with a life-long learning model.
