The "ANKOSLink2025 International Conference" was held at the Presidential Library of the Republic of Turkey from November 4-6, 2026, in collaboration with the Anatolian University Libraries Consortium (ANKOS).
The ANKOSLink2025 International Conference, which began with opening remarks by the President of the Council of Higher Education, Prof. Dr. Erol ÖZVAR, addressed topics such as Library 5.0 and human-centered digital transformation, digital content storage and continuous access, artificial intelligence and ethics, artificial intelligence and research tools, the use of artificial intelligence in academic publishing, the transformation of academic publishing, transformative agreements, the reconstruction of academic knowledge with artificial intelligence, librarian competencies, developments in publishing, equality in access to information, sharing models, and professional challenges.
Our university participated in the three-day international conference with our Rector, Prof. Dr. Ali Cengiz KÖSEOĞLU, our Department Head, Halil GÜRBÜZ, and our branch managers. Kader ÇELİK, Meryem PINARBAŞI, and our librarians participated in the conference's closing remarks. President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, emphasizing the ongoing developments in many areas from education to culture, said the following:
“Today, we raise the bar every day with our educational institutions, libraries, and youth centers, from preschool to postdoctoral level. Working hand in hand with our Ministry of Culture and Tourism, Ministry of National Education, universities, foundations, and local governments, we continue to preserve and develop our librarianship heritage.”
