UNIDES Support for AYBU Student Community Projects

The results of the 2025-2026 first-term application period for the University Student Communities Cooperation and Support Program (ÜNİDES), conducted by the Ministry of Youth and Sports' General Directorate of Youth Services, have been announced. A total of 3,764 projects were evaluated based on applications received from 81 provinces. A total of seven projects from Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University, three of which were national and four were local, and one stakeholder project were awarded ÜNİDES support this term.

The program aims to increase the interaction of youth offices with university student communities and contribute to the social, cultural, and academic development of young people. The projects to be supported were evaluated within the scope of 11 core youth policy areas, including Disaster Management and Resilience, Science and Technology, Environment and Climate, Education and Lifelong Learning, Volunteering, Youth Participation and Civil Society, and International Youth Studies.

The projects that qualified for support are as follows:

Strengthening Together: From Self to Society – AYBU Addiction Fighting Club and AYBU Social Services Club (Local)
Careersim – AYBU R&D Coordination Club (National)
Cracking Earth, Cracking Future – AYBU Photography Club (Local)
Matfest – AYBU Mathematics Club (National)
AYBU Turkic World Culture Promotion – AYBU Turkic World Youth Community (Local)
Voice of the Past, Breath of the Future Psychological Resilience Tour – AYBU Dream Community (National)
Campus Solidarity Bazaar for Palestine and Mural Project – AYBU Social Entrepreneurship Club (Local)

Partnered Project:
Turkish World History and Culture Academy: Youth Bridge from Past to Future – Sinop University Turkic World and History Student Club and AYBU History Club The projects supported by UNIDES in its 5th Term with its partnership aim to encourage young people's participation in volunteering activities, raise social awareness, and conduct sustainable youth projects.
