On October 2nd, the first day of the 2nd Ankara Bilkent City Hospital Pediatrics Congress and the 2nd Nursing Congress, eight courses were held and successfully concluded with a total of 421 participants. The opening ceremony of the congress was held on Friday, October 3rd.
The opening ceremony was attended by our Rector, Prof. Dr. Ali Cengiz Köseoğlu; Health Sciences University Rector, Prof. Dr. Kemalettin Aydın; Ankara Provincial Health Director, Specialist Dr. Ali Niyazi Kurtçebe; Yüksel Hakan Aydoğmuş, Head of the Child and Adolescent Health Department of the General Directorate of Public Health of the Ministry of Health; Prof. Dr. Mücella Arıkan Yorgun, Dean of Ankara ICU Faculty of Medicine; our Coordinating Chief Physician, Prof. Dr. Levent Öztürk; Prof. Dr. Namık Yaşar Özbek, Chief Physician of our Children's Hospital; Prof. Dr. Emine Dibek Mısırlıoğlu, Head of Education and Congress Chair of our Children's Hospital; Prof. Dr. Orkun Tolunay, Administrative Officer of our Children's Hospital; and numerous academics and healthcare professionals. A total of 15 panels were held as part of the congress program. In addition, two satellite symposiums were held, and participants received hands-on training through eight different courses. Additionally, a total of 142 oral presentations were made in 17 oral presentation sessions. 79 posters were exhibited in eight poster presentation sessions. The congress closed on Saturday, October 4th, and awards were presented to selected papers.
