Organized by the European Association for International Education (EAIE) in Sweden for the 35th time this year, the fair brought together more than 7,000 international participants from over 100 countries. Eighty-eight higher education institutions, including our university, participated in the fair.
Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University participated in the Turkish Pavilion, organized by the Turkish National Agency, contributing to the enhancement of the international visibility of Turkish higher education through student and staff mobility exchange programs, particularly Erasmus+, and bilateral collaborations.
The event, which was attended by our Rector, Prof. Dr. Ali Cengiz Köseoğlu, included meetings with over 80 higher education institutions under the leadership of our External Relations Coordinator. In this context, various agreements were reached regarding student and staff exchanges, academic collaborations, and joint projects within the framework of the Erasmus+ KA131 and KA171 projects and the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). Existing protocols were further expanded and made more effective.
During the fair, consultations were also held with representatives of the Turkish National Agency and our Erasmus+ consortium project partners, and assessments were made to enhance the quality of existing collaborations.
Continuing its work in line with its vision of internationalization, AYBU not only developed new collaborations but also contributed to strengthening the global standing of Turkish higher education through this important event.
