The 1st National Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation (PTR) Resident Physician Congress, hosted by Ankara Bilkent City Hospital, was well-attended from September 11-14, 2025. The congress served as a meeting place for expert academics and young resident physicians.
The Honorary President of the congress was Prof. Dr. Evren Yaşar, Rector of Yozgat Bozok University, and Prof. Dr. Emre Adıgüzel, Chief Physician of the Hospital, served as the chairman. As AYBU, our university played an active role in organizing the congress and developing the scientific program. In this context, the congress, organized with the support of AYBU academic staff, served the goal of enhancing the quality of medical education and professional development.
At the opening ceremony, Provincial Health Director Specialist Dr. Ali Niyazi Kurtcebe, Vice Rector of Health Sciences University Prof. Dr. Important speeches were delivered by Dr. Mehmet Ali Gülçelik, Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Akın Aktaş, Congress President Prof. Dr. Emre Adıgüzel, and representatives from AYBU. AYBU representatives emphasized that our university's research and education activities in the health field will continue to strengthen on such national platforms.
The congress was designed as an interactive platform, with presentations, papers, and case discussions conducted under the guidance of advisory faculty. Best Oral and Poster Presentation Awards were presented to support the scientific productivity of young colleagues. The event aimed to strengthen professional solidarity, support education, and serve as a scientific bridge that carries past knowledge into the future.
