The "Tomorrow's Leaders: Youth and Capacity Building Forum" project, coordinated by the AYBU Exchange Students Club and funded by the Ministry of Youth and Sports, has been successfully completed at our university. Led by AYBU Exchange Students Club President Feyza ÇELİKTAŞ, and with Lecturer Dr. B. Burak SOYER as academic advisor, the project was implemented at our university in May through various events as part of the Ministry of Youth and Sports - University Student Societies Collaboration and Support Program (ÜNİDES).
The centerpiece of the project was the forum held at the AYBU Etlik Milli İrade Campus on May 22-23, 2025. On the first day of the two-day forum, expert speakers shared their knowledge and experience on topics such as leadership, artificial intelligence, marketing, volunteering, social responsibility, Europe, and youth opportunities. On the second day, workshops were held on themes such as foreign language, digital transformation, data literacy, social communication and time management, project cycle management, and social entrepreneurship.
Throughout the two-day forum, various information stands were located in the event area. Project partners from the Ministry of Labor and Social Security's Directorate General for Foreign Affairs and the European Union, the Eurodesk Turkey contact points operating in Ankara, the AYBU External Relations Coordination Office, and the Erasmus+ SMART Ankara Higher Education Consortium provided information and dissemination activities related to their areas of activity to young people.
Following the forum, we would like to thank all stakeholders who contributed to the project, the expert instructors involved in the project activities, the members of the AYBU Exchange Students Club, and all the students who participated in the events.
