An Iftar Program Introducing Uzbek Culture Was Held at AYBU

A special iftar program was organized on Laylat al-Qadr, thanks to the initiative of the Uzbek Student Association of Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University. Traditional Uzbek dishes prepared by Uzbek students were served to the guests.

The iftar program, held at the Esenboğa Complex in Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University, was attended by Rector Prof. Dr. Ali Cengiz Köseoğlu, university academics, and visiting students. The program showcased Uzbekistan's special Ramadan dishes and traditions.

The Uzbek students served Uzbek pilaf and other traditional dishes, prepared by themselves, to the guests. The event, which emphasized cultural sharing, provided the students with the opportunity to learn about their own traditions and meet students and academics from different nations. Rector Prof. Dr. Ali Cengiz Köseoğlu chatted with the students for a while during the iftar program and expressed his pleasure at this meaningful event.
