Final Declaration of International Symposium on Sultan Beyazıd and Amir Timur (Samarkand, Bursa, and Ankara) has been published

International Symposium on Sultan Beyazıd and Amir Timur was held with the organization of Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University, Samarkand State University and Bursa Uludağ University between October 17-26, 2022 in three cities respectively Samarkand, Bursa and Ankara. Final Declaration of the Symposium has been completed with the assessments of Rector Prof. Dr. İbrahim Aydınlı, Prof. Dr. Juliboy Eltazarov and Prof. Dr. Hüseyin Çınar. Academicians from Turkey, USA, Germany, and Uzbekistan took part in the symposium which provided contribution to cultural and academic cooperation between both countries. In addition to building a bridge between both countries, the symposium aimed at reassessment of historical events and open new horizon to them. Reassessment of War of Ankara with this symposium contributed to the surface research studies and acquisition of information about historical places. The symposium also contributed the development of diplomatic relationship between both countries pioneered by The Presidents of both countries.

Here are some of the suggestions put forward at the symposium:

  1. To sustain the cooperation between both countries and establish cooperation between the governmental institutions of both countries to publish books and articles of the scientists in both languages;
  2. To organize joint symposiums for a period of 2 or 3 years and bring the scientists of both countries together and exchange opinions pm varied issues;
  3. To provide student exchange in related departments and utilize contracts signed between the universities;
  4. To contact with related institutions in order to presents the written works in Uzbekistan to the use of Turkish academicians digitally and make them benefit from these works with lesser prize;
  5. To realize bilateral academic staff exchange and to establish a joint research institute;
  6. To present information resources to the use digitally;
  7. To organize such symposiums;
  8. To establish a board by the academicians of both countries who holds meetings regularly,
  9. To publish an international refereed “History-Literature Journal” in both Turkish and Uzbekistan Languages;
  10. To encourage scientific activities that will form the bases of historical relations between Turkey-Uzbekistan.
