During 2021-2022 Academic Year Meeting of AYBU Senate, it is decided to publish this release thanks to 6th anniversary of July 15th, one of the most glorious resistance of Turkish Nation against the vilest attempt within the history of Turkish government. During the long night in which sordid attempt was held, our nation banded together under the leadership of Dear President and with the feeling of “either freedom or death” and with the will of reassert national will once again showed that they can turn into an invincible hero and Turkey is invincible when it is freedom of our country is in question.
There is a need to remind troubles that our nation overcame including Battle of Malazgirt, Battle of Gallipoli, Victory of Kut ul Amara, The War of Independence, The War of Cyprus, Operation Afrin, Olive Branch Operation both of which are against terrorist organizations such as PKK, YPG in order to fully comprehend what is experienced on July 15th, 2016 on the robust territory of our country that is located on the most strategic geography of the world and for this reason was subjected to attacks for many times throughout the history.
What is indispensable and absolute for our nation is to come together under the ideal of “Soil, if there is death for the sake of the land!” to defend our country for the sake of our life.
On behalf of AYBU Family who believes in indispensability of freedom, supremacy of law, high values and objectives of our noble nation, with the will of being a window opened to the world from Ankara; the understanding of “ knowledge will and courage” and For the Love of Turkey”, we promise to provide contribution to the development of our country that is a heritage from our ancestors entrusted to the future; to continue to work hard to have success stories on a global scale in many fields ranging from health to industry; from science to art and culture; to train youth as pioneers of the patriot generations with universal proficiency.
The love of our nation for freedom, the ripple of our coy crescent of our independent nation, the voice of our eternal adhans shall be the witnesses of our promise that as the soldiers of science, we will fight against any kind of ill attempt and continue to support our country and nation.
