During the press conference held at AYBU Esenboğa Campus, Dear Rector Prof. Dr. İbrahim Aydınlı pointed out that last year AYBU signed collaboration agreements with National Aerospace University Kaharkiv Aviation İnstitute and Odessa I.I. Mechnikov University.
Dear Rector, who referred to the fact that AYBU is also in collaboration with TUSAŞ Aerospace Industries Inc., in the frame of the agreements in question, academicians from Aerospace Engineering Department may start offering education at AYBU without delay.
Dear Rector who reminded the announcement of Higher Education Council of Turkey (YÖK) continued his speech as follows:
“As known, the war that takes place in Ukraine is getting more violent. We all witness that not only education but also social life is problematic. On behalf of AYBU, we want to send a message to Ukraine. As known, YÖK made an announcement in this regard. Some principles regarding the arrival of Ukrainian Scientists to Turkey were explained. In the direction of this explanation, we want to invite faculty members of Kharkiv Aerospace University to AYBU within the frame of the protocol we signed with Ukraine. We are also continuing our applied education in the area our professors are assigned with at TUSAŞ Aerospace Industries Inc. We kindly ask Ukranian scientists to get in touch with us and inform us as to their arrival to AYBU.”
Dear Rector, who pointed out AYBU hosts more than 30 international academicians out of 108 countries, added that most of the faculties of AYBU offer education entirely in English.
