Center Manager

Prof. Dr. Giray SADIK is a Professor in the Department of International Relations at the Faculty of Political Science, Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University (AYBU). He previously served as a postdoctoral researcher in the Department of Global Political Studies at Malmö University in Sweden. Prof. Sadık earned his Ph.D. in Political Science and International Relations from the University of Georgia in the United States.

In addition to various international publications, he is also the editor of the recently published book titled Europe's Hybrid Threats: The Power of the EU in the 21st Century (Cambridge Scholars Publishing, UK).

Alongside his full-time academic role at AYBU, where he engages in research, teaching, and academic advising, Prof. Sadık also serves as the Director of the European Studies Center at the university. His current research focuses on the following areas: European security and foreign policy, transatlantic relations, hybrid threats arising from mass migration and terrorism, border security, and Middle East–Europe security cooperation.
