The 2025/26 Fall Semester Academic General Assembly of our Faculty was held on Friday, 3 October 2025, at 11:00, with the participation of our Rector and Vice Rectors.
The meeting began with an opening speech by our Dean, Prof. Nuri Adıgüzel, who provided information and evaluations regarding the current state of our Faculty. Following the opening speech, Acting Chair of the Department of Basic Islamic Sciences Prof. Yaşar Yiğit, Chair of the Department of Philosophy and Religious Studies Prof. Behlül Tokur, and Chair of the Department of Islamic History and Arts Prof. Yasin Yılmaz shared their views on the educational activities carried out in our Faculty, as well as their expectations concerning research and administration.
After our Rector, Prof. Ali Cengiz Köseoğlu, provided information about the activities carried out at our University, presentations were delivered by our Vice Rectors, Prof. Hüseyin Tutar and Prof. Abdullah Yıldız. The University Quality Coordinator, Prof. Ahmet Salih Yiğit, gave information about the Institutional Accreditation Program, while Prof. Rafet Aktaş informed the participants about the initiatives being carried out towards becoming a research university.
The General Assembly concluded with our academic staff expressing their views, wishes, and suggestions.
