Important Information
* Students admitted via the Vertical Transfer Exam (DGS) will be the primary participants in these exams. Additionally, foreign national students who registered after September 1st will also be eligible to take them.
* Preparatory program students admitted in 2026 who did not take the YDDS on September 7th will also be eligible to take the YDDS. This exam will be the final opportunity for these students to take the YDDS before preparatory classes are formed. These students will not be eligible to take the YDMS.
* Students admitted via DGS who have registered for 100% or 30% English-medium programs are required to take the Placement Exam (YDDS) first. Students wishing to take the Proficiency Exam (YDMS-AGE) must first take the Placement Exam (YDDS) and score 59.5 or higher. Students who score below 59.5 on the YDDS, as well as those who take the YDMS-AGE but fail to qualify for exemption, will be placed in English preparatory classes based on their YDDS results.
* Students admitted via the DGS (Vertical Transfer Exam) who enroll in programs taught 100% in Turkish (or Arabic/Persian) will be exempted from the mandatory Basic English courses (ING 100/101/102/103/104) with a grade of AA, provided they score 59.5 or higher on the YDDS.
* No registration is required for these exams. Lists will be generated automatically and announced in the coming days.
