Purpose of the Program:

Visual effects in movies, games you play on mobile devices or computers, 3D / 2D productions, designs used in city and region planning and architecture, animations, cartoons, computer games, and even many of the products we use in daily life and health are interested millions of people. Considering that today is the computer age, many designs and applications are now emerging as the product of a computer-aided software and design program.

These programs, developed to create a more impressive and effective design, have become used in almost all sectors. In our rapidly developing country, this sector is undergoing a development process, but possible personnel with sufficient equipment and knowledge cannot be find for this sector. The industry, industry, cinema, television and advertising world, which is in need of qualified personnel in our country, which mainly produces 3D printers and CNC machines in the industrial sector, is generally trying to continue its production with the supply from abroad.

At the same time, in our country, where vocational insufficiency has started to increase, according to the results of the Address Based Population Registration System (ADNKS) according to the "Youth with Statistics 2017" research of the Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK); While the total population of Turkey was 80 million 810 thousand 525 as of the end of 2017, the young population in the 15-24 age group was 12 million 983 thousand 97.The young population made up 16.1 percent of the total population. Of the young population, 51.2 percent was male and 48.8 percent was female. According to population projections, it was predicted that the proportion of young population will be 13.4 percent in 2040, 11.8 percent in 2060 and 11.1 percent in 2080.Likewise, according to the Household Labor Force Survey results; The youth unemployment rate was increased from 19.6 percent in 2016 to 20.8 percent in 2017.While the unemployment rate for young men increased by 0.4 points compared to the previous year and became 17.8 percent, this rate increased by 2.4 points compared to the previous year and became 26.1 percent for young women. The proportion of young people who were neither in education nor in employment was 24.2 percent in 2017. This rate was 14.6 percent for young males and 34 percent for young females. As can be seen in all research results, it is a known fact that the young population in Turkey is excessive and needs education.

At this point, based on the insufficiency of institutions or sectors provides education throughout the country, our university has identified this deficiency, in order to form our young people into qualified individuals and to meet the needs in the sector, it is aimed to train qualified personnel and to meet the needs in this sector with the 3D Modeling and Animation program that will be given within our vocational school.

Education Process:

In order to successfully complete all the courses in the program (equivalent to a total of 120 ECTS), it is necessary to achieve a grade point average of at least 2.00 out of 4.00 and to successfully complete the compulsory summer internship covering 30 working days.

Employment Opportunities:

It is of great importance to train qualified intermediate staff, needed by all sectors, as both designers and implementers. 3D modeling and animation are used for many different purposes in many sectors today, and our students who will graduate from this program will be able to find jobs in many sectors.
