Computer Programming

Purpose of the Program:

In Computer Programming Associate Degree Program; It is aimed to train personnel who have the knowledge and skills to install computers and computer systems, to move businesses to the web environment and to develop application programs for businesses.

Education Process:

Students receive a 2-year education at associate degree level in Computer Programming Program. The courses and internships they attend constitute the infrastructure of the students' professional knowledge and skills. During the 2-year education of Computer Programming Program, students not only take theoretical courses like Computer Hardware, Graphics and Animation, Project Management, but also participate in applied trainings like internships.

At the end of the second semester of the Computer Programming Associate Degree Program, in the summer semester, students practice for 30 (thirty) working days, two hundred and forty (240) hours. The aim of the internship is to reinforce the theoretical knowledge and experience gained during education of our students and to enable them to recognize their responsibilities, relationships, organization and service process in the institutions they will work in.

Every student studying in the Computer Programming Associate Degree Program has to do an internship at appropriate institutions before graduation in order to gain practical working experience and improve their application skills. Although the responsibility of finding an internship place belongs to the student, the suitability of the recommended institution for the internship must be approved by the department.

Employment Opportunities:

Graduates can find job opportunities as a Computer Programmer, System Support Staff, Computer Trainer, Software Specialist, Application Programmer, Network Supervisor, Analyst Programmer, Technical Consultant, Web Designer, Internet Programmer, Software Coordinator and Project Manager in the public or private sector, medium and small-scale institutions and organizations.

In addition, students who have graduated from the Computer Programming Associate Degree program can take the Dikey Geçiş Sınavı (DGS) and can finish 4-year undergraduate departments such as Computer Engineering, Physics Engineering, Software Engineering, Industrial Engineering.
