Our university continues to strengthen its institutional quality assurance processes as part of the Institutional External Evaluation and Monitoring Program conducted by the Higher Education Quality Council (YÖKAK). In this context, the on-site evaluation visit scheduled for the Technical Sciences Vocational School was successfully completed by the independent Evaluation Team appointed by YÖKAK.
Throughout the visit, the Evaluation Team carried out comprehensive examinations based on the School’s Institutional Self-Evaluation Report (KİDR). All processes related to education and training, research and development activities, and administrative management systems were reviewed in detail. The team also conducted interviews with administrators, academic and administrative staff, as well as students, allowing them to assess the School’s alignment with quality standards and the effectiveness of its continuous improvement mechanisms.
This external evaluation visit represents a significant step in the University’s efforts to achieve national and international quality standards across all academic units. The feedback to be provided regarding the School’s strengths and areas for improvement will contribute meaningfully to the enhancement of strategic planning processes.
The successful completion of this evaluation marks an important milestone in reinforcing our University’s position in the field of higher education and constitutes a concrete step toward the institutional accreditation phase.
