Announcement For Lateral Transfer Or To Be A Special Student For The Students Who Receive Education At Higher Education Institutions In Ukraine Due To The War

The students who receive education in Ukraine but wants to arrive in Turkey due to the war between Ukraine and Russia can do application to study at AYBU within the criterions determined by Council of Higher Education in Turkey. They can do online application between 11th -15th of April 2022.  Please keep in mind that in order for the students to do lateral transfer to AYBU, it is compulsory for the students to be registered to a higher education institution in Ukraine that is recognised by Council of Higher Education in Turkey.

APPLICATION PROCESS FOR LATERAL TRANSFER

  1. Applications will be done online. Any application via post or cargo is unacceptable.  
  2. If the submitted documents do no coincide with the true information; if the candidate do not do application on time or if the candidate do not meet the demanded criterions, the application is invalid.
  3. The demands such as submission of new scores or documents or their modification is not acceptable after the deadline for application.
  4. The candidates can only prefer one program. If the candidate do not do application or registration on time, h/she is exempted from the right in question.
  5. Application results will be announced on the website of Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University on 20th of April, 20221 (www.aybu.edu.tr). No additional information will be sent to e-mail address of the candidate.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: It is compulsory to submit original documents in the process of registration.

 

DOCUMENTS NEEDED FOR APPLICATIONS FOR LATERAL TRANSFER

  1. Biometric Photo
  2. Student Certificate that is taken maximum three months ago and its Notarized Translation to Turkish
  3. Transcript of Records and its Notarized Translation to Turkish
  4. Disciplinary Situation Report (If it is indicated on Transcript or on Student Certificate, it is acceptable.)
  5. Course Contents and their Notarized Translation to Turkish (The Pages belong to the program student is registered to and the classes h/she completed)
  6. A Certificate that shows that the candidate has minimum score for application (ÖSYS-YKS Document of International Exam Result)
  7. English Proficiency Certificate  (For the programs demanding compulsory English Prep Class)
  8. Turkish Proficiency Certificate for International Students (For the programs that is either 30% in Turkish or Arabic)
  9. Confirmed Entry-exit Registration obtained from Police Office
  10. Copy of the Page with Photo and ID Info of the Passport whose date of validity has not expired
  11. ID information confirming the application type

 

APPLICATION PROCESS TO BE A SPECIAL STUDENT

The students who could not obtain the right for lateral transfer but registered to a formal education of a higher education institution in Ukraine will be able to continue their education at AYBU in the status of special student.
