Department of Mathematics; The Master's program accepts students who have completed their undergraduate education in Mathematics or other disciplines. Mathematics is the art of reasoning and problem-solving. It is a discipline that examines the properties of concepts such as numbers and geometric structures and the connections between them through deductive and inductive ways of thinking. Since everything scientific requires a mathematical formulation, Mathematics is an indispensable tool of science and technology.

The required undergraduate GPA to apply for a master's program is at least 2.50/4.00
The required ALES score to apply to a master's program is at least 60
The required foreign language (YÖKDİL/YDS) score to apply for a master's degree program is at least 55

Candidates whose applications are accepted must take the Foreign Language Exemption Exam held by our university.
Requirements for Graduating from the Program:
In order to graduate, students must take at least 7 courses (not less than 21 credits in total), a seminar course, and an additional FBE900 Research Methods and Ethics course. These students must also submit their Master's Thesis Proposal to the institute by the date determined by our Institute in the semester after completing their courses. At the same time, they must take the Special Studies course every semester, and in addition to this course, when they start their thesis work, they must also take the Master's Thesis course until they graduate.
At most two of the courses to be taken by the student can be selected from the undergraduate courses provided that they are not taken during undergraduate education. In addition, courses may be selected from courses offered in other higher education institutions upon the recommendation of the advisor and the head of the relevant department, with the approval of the Graduate School Administrative Board. The credits of the courses to be taken from other higher education institutions cannot exceed 50% of the total credits.
The proposal of a supervisor of some of the graduate courses related to his / her field of science, which a student has taken and succeeded as a private student or from domestic, overseas Higher Education Institutions within the last three years before enrolling in the Institute as a full-time student; It can be transferred to the current program with the decision of the Board. However, the credits of such courses cannot exceed 50% of the total credit required in the program in which the student is registered.
