As part of National Afforestation Day, November 11th, a meaningful sapling planting event was held at the Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University (AYBU) Esenboğa Campus. The event, organized to remind the public of our responsibility towards nature and to plant saplings that will breathe new life into the future, was led by our Rector, Prof. Dr. Ali Cengiz Köseoğlu, and attracted a large number of academics, administrative staff, and students.
At the event, launched with the slogan "One Sapling, One Breath," participants planted saplings in the ground for a greener campus and a sustainable future. The event once again highlighted the vital importance of contributing to nature and future generations.
Our Rector, Prof. Dr. Ali Cengiz Köseoğlu emphasized that the responsibility of afforestation on campus falls to them, adding: "The task of afforestation has fallen to us, due to the circumstances. We are taking every precaution and making every effort to make this a livable campus."
The event concluded with Rector Prof. Dr. Ali Cengiz Köseoğlu, the board of directors, academics, administrative staff, and students planting saplings and providing water for them.
