AYBU's Success Continues to Shine in the Erasmus+ Higher Education Program

Our university continues to strengthen its internationalization vision with the results of the 2025 application period for the Erasmus+ Higher Education Program.

According to the 2025 grant results announced by the Turkish National Agency, our university increased its grants received under the Erasmus+ KA131 Exchange Program by 35.41% this year compared to the previous year.

With applications submitted through two different Erasmus+ KA131 Exchange Program Consortium Projects, our university ranked 5th among 43 universities participating in the consortium. Including consortium projects, our university rose to 32nd place among all higher education institutions in Turkey in terms of grant amounts.

This success is a concrete demonstration of our university's strategic planning during the Erasmus+ Exchange Program and the strong collaborations established with our stakeholders. This performance will enable increased support for our students' educational and internship mobility activities within Europe, and for our academic and administrative staff in their teaching/training activities.

Another development that further expanded our international network was the Erasmus+ KA171 Exchange Program (Higher Education Student and Staff Mobility with third countries not affiliated with the Program). Our University received grants for 15 different countries, specifically in Asia, South America, the Balkans, and Africa, as part of the Erasmus+ KA171 Exchange Program project, developed in collaboration with our External Relations Coordination and our academics. This project has risen to 10th place in Turkey in this field, reinforcing its goal of offering our students and staff collaboration opportunities with new continents.

With this increased funding, our University will continue to create higher education and internship opportunities that have a multiplier effect on the international arena of higher education, deepen its strategic partnership network, and implement innovative projects in line with its vision of pioneering high-quality education and research projects.

We would like to thank all our academic and administrative staff, especially our External Relations Coordination staff, who contributed to this success, and all our stakeholders involved in our projects.
