Dr. Otto Suárez, Academic Vice Rector of the Guayaquil University of Business Technologies in Ecuador, and MSc. Vicente Buenaño, External Relations Coordinator, visited Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University. The program, held at the Esenboğa Campus, welcomed the visiting delegation: Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Mustafa Orçan, Secretary General Dr. Mümin Şen, Lecturer Dr. Aycan Gökçek from the External Relations Coordination, and Lecturer Dr. B. Burak Soyer.
During the visit, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between the two universities to enhance academic collaboration. Ideas were also exchanged regarding potential joint projects under the Erasmus+ program. The guests were also given a campus tour, where they were introduced to the university's academic and physical facilities.
Elizabeth Cynthia, a master's student in the Department of International Trade and Finance at AYBU's Institute of Social Sciences, and Maylin Nayel Guano Flores, an undergraduate student in the Department of Nursing at the Faculty of Health Sciences, also attended the program.
The visit was considered the first step in building academic bridges between the two universities and also presented significant opportunities for mutual student and faculty exchange.
