Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University participated in the NAFSA 2025 Fair, held in San Diego, USA, bringing together higher education institutions from around the world. The AYBU Foreign Relations Coordination Office participated in the Turkish National Agency pavilion, holding important meetings regarding internationalization strategies.

AYBU was represented at the fair by Vice Rector for Foreign Relations Prof. Dr. Abdullah Yıldız and the coordination staff. At the fair, which attracted more than 8,000 participants from over 100 countries, the AYBU team strengthened existing collaborations and established new academic partnerships.
Erasmus+ and MoU Discussions Held
During the meetings held at the fair, student and staff mobility, academic collaborations, and project partnerships were discussed within the scope of the Erasmus+ KA131, KA171, and MoU Exchange Programs. As a result of meetings with university representatives from numerous countries, particularly Europe, existing agreements were expanded, and new cooperation protocols were also discussed.
Collaboration Platforms Established with Turkish Academics in the US
During the fair, the AYBU delegation also attended an event organized by the Turkish Consulate General in Los Angeles, meeting with Turkish academics working in the US. These contacts laid an important foundation for Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University's involvement in global academic projects.
