At our university's Esenboğa Complex, our Rector, Prof. Dr. Ali Cengiz Köseoğlu, received a delegation from Uzbekistan's Urganç State University, named after Ebu Reyhan Biruni. The meeting emphasized the increasing cooperation between Turkey and Uzbekistan in the field of higher education in recent years, and noted that Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University has undertaken joint projects and activities with numerous Uzbek universities within this framework.
As part of the meeting, an agreement was reached to further expand the academic collaboration between AYBU and Urganç State University and to increase exchange programs in the field of education. To this end, a cooperation protocol was signed between the two universities. The delegation was hosted for an iftar dinner at our university's Etlik National Will Building. Afterward, guests attending the Çanakkale Victory and Ramadan Concert enlivened the event with various Uzbek heroic melodies.
