Middle School Students Meet Horses with the YEPTİM Project

In the context of the European Mobility Week, an event was organized with the participation of school administrators, teachers, and our students who are the future promise at Dumlupınar Middle School in the Çubuk district. The event took place under the coordination of Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University's YEPTİM Project Coordinator, Instructor Ali Ekber ÜN, bringing together young riders with students from Dumlupınar Middle School.

The purpose of this event is to connect young riders and students with equestrian culture, aiming to raise awareness about energy conservation during European Mobility Week. Within the scope of the event, 15 young riders completed a 20-kilometer nature hike.

After the nature hike, informational sessions were held in the Dumlupınar Middle School courtyard to educate students about environmental protection, energy conservation, the preservation of natural resources, and health. Students were introduced to horses to raise awareness about animal love.

Following the school visit, 15 young riders and their horses collected environmental waste around Kızılca Pond in the vicinity of Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University, aiming to promote environmental awareness and nature conservation.
