Centre for Rural Researches (KAM-Çubuk) has been founded with the purpose of utilizing developing technology and information, producing qualified human power who can produce new technologies and information considering national values and preserving and developing sustainable cultural heritage.
The research and development centre that will work on varied sectors especially on architecture, rural heritage, agriculture, local food, industry, health, environment, construction and infrastructure aims to be a physical and intellectual metring point in which AYBU members and local shareholders come together and a functional laboratory for the region.
With this purpose, a cooperation has been established with Municipality of Çubuk that is one of its greatest shareholders of AYBU. During the meeting organized for KAM-Çubuk, to which students, lecturers and faculty members from different academic units of AYBU participated in, Estate of Mazhar Bal that is allocated to the research centre by Municipality of Çubuk has been visited. The cooperation protocol between AYBU and the municipality was signed at administrative building of the municipality. During the signing ceremony, senior student of AYBU Department of Architecture Talha Ulaş delivered the presentation of KAM-Çubuk and Mayor of Municipality of Çubuk Lawyer Baki Demirbaş and AYBU Rector Prof. Dr. İbrahim Aydınlı delivered speeches on their expectations from the centre.
