Directorate of Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University Central Research Application and Research Centre
paid a visit to BOREN Beylikova, Kırka and Emet Mining Facilities between 25-27 May 2022 with the
purpose of discussing collaboration possibilities and the possibilities as to carry out joint projects with
Eti Mine Works General Directorate.
In the direction of new vision of Eti Mine Works General Directorate that has a significant role in mining
of boron reserve 73% of which is included in Turkey, AYBU aims to enhance collaboration with the
institution. In the line with this Director of AYBU Central Research Application and Research Centre
Assoc. Dr. Ramazan Karslıoğlu, Deputy Director of the Centre Assistant Professor Dr. Faruk Mert and
AYBU Faculty Members who do research in the related area discussed about possible projects that
may be carried out by AYBU and the institution. AYBU Team also paid a visit to the production
facilities of the institution during their trip to Beylikova, Kırka and Emet facilities.
