AYBU Supports Agriculture!

Thanks to the project carried out by Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University Ecological Works Application and Research Centre, grains were planted on the available soil located within the university campus to contribute the economy of the country.

In the direction of the call of Dear President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan “Let’s not leave no territory that is not planted” and the permission fromTurkish Republic Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, grains were planted on the available soil of 500 acres within the protocol between and AYBU Esenboğa Campus by Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University Ecological Works Application and Research Centre and Local Authority of Dumlupınar District.

Ecological Agriculture has been carried out within the frame of the project considering the negative effects on climate change on agricultural products and food security. The project that refers to the current food security problems caused by the insufficient available soil due to the industrialization is foregrounded as an example to the society.

Rector Prof. Dr. İbrahim Aydınlı paid a visit to the region and examined the area and received information from the local authority of Dumlupınar District Mr. Ömer Tiftikçi and wished Happy Bairam and Night of Measures to the farmers.
