Rector’s Message for Library Week

Libraries are the institutions that enables individual to access to any kind of qualified information from printed or online works without the limit of time and place in their learning, development and production of the information process.

One of the most significant investments for the future of Turkey is to produce human power who reads, researches and questions. Libraries have a crucial role in transforming our history culture and universal accumulation of information as well as knowledge and wisdom to the coming generations.

I congratulate 58th Library Week with an awareness of all these values; wish success to our valuable librarians and express my gratitude for their devotion. I wish a raising demand for the libraries and success.
