With the purpose of establishing bilateral cooperation and carrying out project, AYBU Faculty Members of Faculty of Architecture and Fine Arts paid a visit to Municipality of Çubuk.
During the visit Dean of AYBU Faculty of Architecture and Fine Arts Prof. Dr. Arif Ankaralı, Vice Dean of the Faculty Assoc. Dr. Dr. Kübra Yıldırım Özcan, Faculty Members of the Faculty including Assoc. Dr. Salah Hajismail, Assistant Professor Seçil Kartopu, Assistant Professor Ahmet Musa Koç, Assistant Professor and Research Assistant Ramazan Güler received information as to the municipal, cultural and social qualities of Municipality of Çubuk.
During the visit, a detailed information was given as to Municipal Museum of Çubuk, The Village of Sele, The Village of Susuz, certified cultural heritages of and recreation areas of the region by the specialists of the region and the local authority of the villages. The adobe houses, mosques, and mausoleums located in the villages were examined. In the line with this, the pre-meeting as to carrying out projects to preserve existing cultural and historical structures was held. In addition to this, the mausoleum located in The Village of Sele and the mosque located in The Village of Mahmutoğlan was examined. It has been decided that promotion of the historical and architectural qualities of these cultural heritages by doing publication about them will provide contribution to the cultural promotion of the district. It was also decided to carry out studies as to the unique quality of the rural architecture of the district.
AYBU Faculty Members took steps to meet the financial support to carry out project, diversify them and prepare the drafts of the publications.
