Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University offers applied training to students of Aerospace Engineering one day in a week at Tusaş Aerospace Industries inc.
Students receive education at production centres and do applied training. In addition to this, they are paid in the duration of work.
The students start application as a freshmen, which makes them getting to know the job they will do in the future closely and provides work experience. Rector of Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University Prof. Dr. İbrahim Aydınlı stated that:
“The students need to start to have work experience as a freshmen. We have already started to see that this training provides significant sectoral and educational contribution. We demand student to getting to know the job they will do after graduation because there are hundreds of thousands students who dislike the training they have just started and thus prefers to retake the exam. We want to prevent it.”
AYBU Signs Contracts with Pioneering Institutions
Students of Software Engineering will be included to this application. With this purpose, AYBU signs contracts with pioneering institutions.
Prof. Dr. Aydınlı added that “Hopefully, As AYBU, we will apply applied training model which we carry out in cooperation with Tusaş Aerospace Industries inc.to HAVELSAN as well. We are in the process of cooperation regarding to this”
It is planned to apply applied training model to all faculties of engineering.
