In the frame of National Technology Move, Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt Üniversitesi, produces graduates by offering education in the fields of domestic and national defence systems, software and aviation. In the line with domestic and national technology objectives, in addition to offering academic and applied trainings at AYBU Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences Software Engineering and Aircraft Technologies Program of AYBU Vocational School, AYBU is foregrounded with the new areas for our country such as Space Land.
In this context AYBU Rector Prof. Dr. İbrahim Aydınlı paid a visit to HAVELSAN to make one more protocol in training, placement and RE-DE cooperation’s with institutions in the area of defence industry and aerospace, especially with Military Electronics Industries (Aselsan), Aerospace Industries Inc. (TUSAŞ), Aerospace Industries Inc. (Roketsan), Turkish Space Agency. Prof. Dr. İbrahim Aydınlı and his committee examined facilities of HAVELSAN with General Director of Dr. Mehmet Akif Nacar and realized negotiations concerning the applied training of AYBU Students at HAVELSAN starting with their first year.

AYBU Rector Prof. Dr. İbrahim Aydınlı made observations on plane simulation of HAVELSAN which has a position of production centre in Education and Simulation Technologies and performed testes at virtual cockpit with the administrative body of HAVELSAN.
